The years since the second edition of Reconstructing Quaternary Environments have seen an exponential increase in the volume of literature written on the Quaternary. Mike Walker is Emeritus Professor of Quaternary Science, School of Archaeology, History and Anthropology at Trinity Saint David, University of Wales, Lampeter, and Honorary Professor, Aberystwyth University.
