Der Kampf von Gut und Böse, Drachenwesen und das drohende Ende der Menschheit diese Motive lassen Kinokassen klingeln. Gleichzeitig haben apokalyptische Argumentationsmuster Hochkonjunktur in der breiten Gesellschaft. Beides die apokalyptischen Bilder und die apokalyptischen Denkmuster haben Anhalt im biblischen Zeugnis und so liegt die Frage nahe: Kann die Kirche an diesen Trend zur Endzeitstimmung anknüpfen und so die eigene Botschaft wieder attraktiver machen?
