Starting with the remembrance of the November Pogrom of 1938, this volumes traces changes in the cultural memory of the Shoah and the history of Jewish life in Germany. It also examines recent developments in the debates about public remembrance, in cultural memory studies, and in the culture of remembrance, with a focus on the future forms and contents of memory.
