People have always been trying to seize nature to better satisfy their needs. The enlightenment has raised reason to a higher level. Science nowadays has reached human nature itself and furthers their modifcation to the point of perfection. Critiqe is indispensable to question the usefulness of this development, to determine possible consequences and dangers for human society and to discoursely balance them with their public utility. Critique, in its role to purify reason, therefore is to stay inseperably connected to enlightenment.
